Modern steps up crane activities

The Modern group has appointed Sam Maury as product manager for crane and truck mounted equipment.

Currently based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Maury worked for Modern for more than six years until leaving in late 2012 to join Link Belt Mid Atlantic. He began his career with Enterprise car rental in early 1996.

His new role will see him focus on sales of cranes to construction related customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Modern represents Broderson and also sells Terex and Elliot boom trucks as well as Palfinger knuckle booms. It is also a dealer for JLG, Lull, Hyster and Genie.
