Scaffold mounted truck platform
Spotted in Poland, a man working on a roadside advertising hoarding from a scaffold structure he has erected on the back of a tipper truck.
The picture shows the man straddling two wooden planks at a height of around 10 metres on a steel scaffold. The planks are placed below the top rail so that the frames create a knee high ‘guardrail’, which in reality pose a greater hazard than if he had placed the planks on the top rail, especially as he is still struggling to reach. How the scaffold is held in place is anyone’s guess.
In the words of our correspondent: “One of our employees found a new type of AWP on a worksite yesterday. As we see it can reach at least 10 metres! It has a powerful diesel engine with turbo charger and the most important thing is its eight rough terrain tyres so you can reach any destination!”

Definitely one for our Death Wish series.
