Road/rail lift for tunnels

Dutch rail and road tunnel ventilation equipment specialist Zitron Nederland has taken delivery of a Eurorailer 120-1 trailer mounted road/rail boom lift from access specialist Riel Rail Systems.

Weighing 1,500kg, the 120-1 trailer lift offers a working height of 10 metres, has a platform capacity of 120kg and offers an outreach of 3.5 metres with an up and over height of four metres.

The company will use the machine for the cleaning and maintenance of ventilation fans in tunnels throughout Belgium.Introduced in 2007 Riel Rail has delivered 10 units of the Eurorailer 120-1 so far.
