Link-Belt moves into Peru
Link-Belt has appointed Montacargas Zapler as its crane distributor for Peru.
Zapler was established in 1980 as a second hand forklift dealer, but has gradually added additional material handling products, both used and new, representing Palfinger loader cranes, Elliot boom trucks, Taylor reach trucks, Jinwoo truck mounted platforms and TVH spare parts.
The first new Link-Belt sold by Zapler, a 60 tonne RTC-8065 Series II Rough Terrain crane, has been shipped to contractor and crane rental company Sergear in southern Peru, for work on a copper mine expansion project.

Corey Rogers, Link-Belt’s regional sales manager for South America, said:
“We are very excited about our new partnership with Zapler as our distributor for the country of Peru. Demand for cranes is steadily increasing throughout Peru as a result of the booming economy and Zapler’s knowledge of lifting technologies and dedication to customer service and support were key factors in our decision to partner with them. We look forward to a growing presence in Peru over the coming months.”
