Forks and scissors

Sent in by a reader from the Netherlands, several photographs of an idiot, or pair of idiots using a fork lift to give a scissor lift some extra height.

While this has been sent to us by a Dutch reader, there is nothing we can see that indicates that it occurred in the Netherlands. One odd fact is that it looks as though there is a Genie boom parked outside, so one has to wonder if this was more of a Friday afternoon stunt, than a genuine need to extend the scissor lifts height.

Extra height attained but will it stay the fork truck operator looks as though he is keeping his distance

We cannot tell if the forks are retained in fork pockets, it doesn’t look like it, and finally the operator takes the lift up too far and bends the deck extension. He is lucky that this lot did not come crashing down. A definite one for the Death Wish series.
