Riwal restructures- Lawson departs

Dutch international aerial lift and telehandler rental company Riwal is eliminating the regional reporting groupings for its country organisations.

As a result of the change Northern Europe regional director Wayne Lawson is leaving the business, while the other regional director, Pedro Torres, becomes chief operating officer with executive responsibility for operational excellence for all the country operations in the group.

The executive board will now be made up of the chief executive Norty Turner, the chief financial officer and two chief operating officers – Torres and Søren Rosenkrands, who has executive responsibility for safety, fleet, procurement, and technical matters.

Chief executive Norty Turner, said: “This new structure supports our continuous focus on driving global performance and on improving communication throughout the organisation. We deeply thank Wayne Lawson for bringing his energy, passion and proven leadership skills in the company during the last two years. He held a critical role within Riwal, and his leadership contributed to strong and solid growth in Northern Europe. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
