New VP for Big Rentz

US web based rental company Big Rentz has appointed Franklin McDonald as vice president of operations.

McDonald spent over 31 years with Hertz Equipment, having joined the company in 1983 as a sales co-ordinator, joining the rental industry after a couple years as a sales rep with Peden Steel. He worked his way up to branch manager in Wilmington, Delaware and finally spent over 17 years as regional manager in the Greater Atlanta area. He left in January 2014.

California based BigRentz originally traded as Direct Equipment Alliance and co-ordinates the provision of rental equipment such as aerial work platforms, telehandlers and earthmoving equipment through a network of independently owned local suppliers.
