Patrick Bastings R.I.P

We have received the sad news of the premature death on Wednesday of Patrick Bastings, JLG European region product manager for telehandlers, based in Belgium

Bastings, a Dutch national has been with JLG since 2008 and prior to that had worked with access company Alpas Hendrion in the Netherlands. In his mid to late 40s, he had been suffering with cancer for some time, but in the words of someone who knew him well: “He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I only wish that when my time comes I have the courage to walk the path that Patrick has traversed with his illness, with the same courage, humour, dignity and friendship”.
