New head for Navis

Benoit de la Tour has been appointed president of Navis, Kalmar’s terminal operating systems business. Based in Oakland, California, he will report to
Navis chairman/Kalmar president Olli Isotalo.

He joins the company from telecommunications networking software Ciena where he is general manager for Europe the Middle East and Africa. He takes up his new role at the start of February.

Prior to that, he worked for Microsoft as vice president Europe, Africa the Middle East, Africa and South America, responsible for developing Microsoft's Enterprise Business Applications division.
