Quick expansion in Scotland

UK rental company Quick Reach has appointed Arthur Donnelly to further develop its presence in Scotland, following the acquisition of Specialized Access in Jaunuary See Quick Reach completes Specialized acquisition .

Donnelly joins the company following more than three years with Nationwide Platforms, initially as area sales manager West Scotland and then as regional operations manager in Scotland. Prior to that he spent almost three years as senior sales executive with Active Access, following two years with Hire Station as Scottish area manager. Before that he was with the Platform Company for two years, having helped set up its operation in Scotland in August 2006, and only leaving when the business was acquired by Lavendon in 2008. He started out in the rental business as a depot manager with JG Martin Plant Hire.

John Barton founding director of Quick Reach said: “Further to the asset acquisition of Specialized Access, we have now successfully rebranded the company as Quick Reach and are looking to develop the business from not only a company that deals with specialist access but also more general hire including telehandlers. We now have a strong team and Arthur will soon be looking to recruit more engineers and sales support staff. We wish him continued success in the development of Quick Reach in Scotland.”
