Bolivia’s first 400t Grove
Bolivian transport and installation company Alanoca has taken delivery of the first 400 tonne Grove GMK6400 All Terrain crane in Bolivia.
The new six axle crane - the largest in the Alancoa fleet - has a five section 60 metre main boom with MegaWingLift boom guying system and luffing jib. Powered by a single engine with hydrostatic drive and Fuel Saver option, it is relatively compact and offers a choice of three outrigger positions, allowing it to set up where space is limited. The crane is currently working at a cement factory in La Paz, and is scheduled to work on the construction of a petrochemical complex later in the year.
