More spiders for Wilson
UK rental company Wilson Access has ordered 14 new spider lifts, a 31 metre Teupen Leo 31T Redline, seven Hinowa Lightlifts and six JLG units.
The Hinowa spiders include two 15 metre Lightlift 15.70s, four 17 metre Lightlift 17.75s and one 26 metre Lightlift 26.14. The JLG spider lifts include three 15 metre X15J Plus', one 20 metre X20J Plus and two 26 metre X26J Plus'.
The Teupen Leo 31T Redline has now become the largest spider lift in the company's fleet and has already been delivered, as have the Hinowa Lightlifts. The JLG spiders will be delivered throughout February and March.

Managing director Pete Wajner said: "The tracked spider lift market has developed greatly over recent years, mainly due to the manufacturers developing machine capabilities, such as increased reach heights and outreach, whilst still maintaining low weight machines and narrow, compact designs."
"This makes them extremely versatile as they can be used in indoor applications and on delicate flooring. Other important developments include remote control maneuvering, memory functions and self leveling outrigger set up systems. As a result of this increased versatility, we have seen an increase in demand across the AFI group customer base."
