Helix for Swiss facade company

Swiss rental company and facade access specialist Rent-it has taken delivery of a 12 metre Helix 1205 mast boom from Hematec.

The 1205 features a three section telescopic jib, offering 5.1 metres of outreach at a mast height of 6.5 metres. The machine’s overall width is 980mm, and overall weight is 4,800kg.

Rent-it junior manager Silvio Hitz said: "Due to the increasingly critical spatial conditions and the associated increase in demand in Switzerland, we have decided in favour of the Helix."

Based in Goldach in the canton of St Gallen, Rent-it has been run by Oswald Hitz for more than 20 years. The company runs a fleet of around 200 machines, including aerial lifts, telehandlers and forklifts, as well as aluminium scaffolding. In addition to the headquarters in Goldach, the company has a second location in Dietlikon near Zurich.
