Kennards moves into Toowoomba

Australia’s Kennards Hire has opened a new 2,600 square metre 'drive through' location in Toowoomba, Queensland, taking the number of branches in the state to 30.

Toowoomba is Australia’s largest non coastal city, and the new Kennards store will focus on the predominant local industries, which include agriculture, construction and mining, with products such as boom lifts, lighting towers, fork truck mounted platforms, and generators. The new branch will be managed by Luke Wolff, with team members Michael Fahey, Sam Tonkin, Jason Tredinneck and Ryan Heusser.

Wolff said: “It is such a great opportunity for us to bring Kennards Hire’s practical and reliable service to the people of Toowoomba. With so much growth in the region and projects such as the boom in resource production and the Inland Rail construction taking place, our new branch, only two hours west of Brisbane, offers convenience to local industries.”

“Built inside the iconic GrainCorp shed at the end of the 11 grain silos, the branch offers a unique drive through experience, allowing you to literally drive through, digitally sign the hire schedule on a tablet and be out the other side within minutes, loaded up with the gear you need.”
