Crane fatality at Nuclear power site

A man died and another was seriously injured in a crane incident on Friday at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant construction site in Ishwardi, Pabna, Bangladesh.
Shikhon Hossain, 27, was declared dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital, while his colleague, Jewel Rana, 35, is reported to be in a critical condition.

Details of what happened in the site - which we understand is currently populated by foundation and regular crawler crane – are sketchy to non existent. Early reports suggest that the two men fell, while later reports from the scene indicate a rope failure which caused the load to drop onto the two men.
