New European sales manager for Unic

Unic Cranes Europe, the European master dealer for Unic spider cranes has appointed John Scholtens as European sales manager.

Scholtens joins Unic after almost a year as sales manager with Dutch sales and rental company van Adrighem. Before that he was sales manager at Dutch rental company M. Verschoor. He began his career in 1985 with Grove crane and JLG aerial lift distributor HDW, where he became sales manager. In 1998 he was recruited as senior sales manager for Demag mobile cranes - which later became Terex Cranes - covering sales in the Netherlands. In 2014 he left to set up his own crane sales and trading business - S&S International Trading, in partnership with Peter Smits, joining M. Verschoor in 2016.
