New finance SVP for Kalmar

Kalmar has appointed Stephen Foster as senior vice president finance, effective from the start of February.

Foster moves to Kalmar from parent company Cargotec, where he has been senior vice president, audit and assurance for the past three years, He was previously senior vice president, corporate audit. He reports to Kalmar president Antti Kaunonen.

Foster began his career in 1991 with DAF Trucks as a management accountant. Five years later he joined French food company Danone as commercial controller, spending two years there before joining electronics/technology company Philips as chief financial officer/regional controller. In 2007 Foster joined Cargotec, where he held a variety of roles including vice president and business controller for the Kalmar Services division, vice president of finance for the service business area, and vice president finance and project director.
