New MDs for Blumenbecker

German industrial services company Blumenbecker has appointed Richard Mayer, Harald Golombek and Olaf Lingnau as joint managing directors.

Mayer joins Blumenbecker from the Pfleiderer Group, where he has been chief financial officer for the past five years. Prior to that he was with Wacker Neuson for 17 years, holding a number of positions, including chief financial officer, chief operating officer and chief executive. He has also worked with ConMoto Consulting and was general manager at Reichhart Logistik.

Golombek has been promoted from managing director of the company’s automation technology division, a role he has held since 2004. He joined the company from the Brazilian division of engineering company Cegelec, where he was head of automation and systems.

Lingnau has been promoted from managing director of Blumenbecker’s industrial services division, a position he has held since 2015. He has also been managing director of the company’s industrial supplies division since 2007.

Majority shareholder Astrid Blumenbecker said: “We are very pleased to have found an internationally experienced manager with Richard Mayer, and we are convinced that this new management team will lead the Blumenbecker Group together into a successful future.”
