JLG ‘beefs up’ product support team
JLG has made a number of senior appointments to its North American, Asia-Pacific and European product support operations.
Wade Jones has been appointed general manager of North America Parts, a newly created role, and will work with the JLG parts sales team while continuing in his current role as head of JLG Parts Distribution Centre operations. He originally joined the company in 2006 as director aftermarket, leaving to join Cat dealer MacAllister in late 2006 in a parts management role. He re-joined JLG three years ago and is currently Mid West regional vice president of sales and service.
Chief operating officer Andy Tacelosky said: “Wade has the perfect blend of experience between JLG and his related external expertise to strategically lead our North American parts and distribution business. He is a knowledgeable and well-respected team member and we are excited that he has accepted this new role.”

Ken Ferguson has also been appointed to a new position as general manager of North America service and used equipment. He is currently director of used equipment, having joined the company from Iron Planet in 2016. He previously held sales positions with Multiquip and Pr0-Build Holdings.
“Ken’s successful leadership in our used equipment sector has made a noticeable impact on JLG’s profitability and growth,” said Tacelosky. “The merger of North America Service and Used Equipment under a leader like Ken will help us to drive synergies across our business that will positively impact customer satisfaction.”

Ken Ferguson
Willie van Ryneveld has been appointed director of customer care for the Europe, Africa and Middle East region. He will oversee parts management, parts distribution centre operations, field services and training in the region. He joins the company having worked as a consultant since leaving Terex Cranes in late 2017, where he was director global product/customer support & parts, having re-joined the company after five years Bucyrus and Caterpillar Mining in a similar role. He originally joined Terex in 2004 as director of global product support of its mining equipment division.
He began his career in 1989 as a plant manager in the South African steel industry with ISCOR, moving to BSW Data in 1994 as a programme manager joining Ingo Information Solutions as chief executive two and a half years later, leaving for Terex in 2004.
European general manager Karel Huijser said: “Willie has an impressive track record of customer success across well known brands and multiple manufacturing environments. His history of long term, successful customer relationships is among his greatest assets and JLG is fortunate to welcome him to our team.”

Willie van Ryneveld
David Wei becomes associate director of aftermarket for JLG’s Asia Pacific region, responsible for the strategic direction of all service, parts sales, training and quality in the region.
Asia Pacific general manager William Gu said: “We are very fortunate that someone of David’s calibre has accepted this new position. He brings tremendous industry experience to our operations and is ready to lead our well-established team.”
