IT GM for Kennards

Australia’s Kennards Hire has appointed Martin McManus as general manager of information technology.

McManus will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the company’s IT strategies and services and will play a key role in Kennards Hire’s digital transformation. He joins the company from port operator DP World Australia, where he has been chief information officer since 2014. Prior to that he was IT business applications manager at strategic consulting company Sinclair Knight Merz.

He began his career in 2005 at delivery company StarTrack as solution architect, and was later promoted to national business solutions architect and then IT business services manager, moving to Sinclair Knight Merz in 2012.
