Senior management departures at Cramo
Cramo has lost two senior managers, Peter Bäckström, executive vice president, Scandinavia, and managing director of Cramo Sweden and Mattias Rådström, senior vice president communications, marketing and investor relations. Both were members of the group management team, and have left the company with immediate effect. Rådström had been with Cramo since 2016, while Bäckström joined in 2017.

Joakim Schedvins head of finance at Cramo Sweden has taken over Bäckström’s duties until a permanent replacement is found. While group chief financial officer Aku Rumpunen will take over the investor relations role from Rådström.
Chief executive Leif Gustafsson said: “I want to thank Peter Bäckström and Mattias Rådström for the work they have done for the company and wish them all the best for the future.”
Schedvins joined Cramo in 2018 as financial director, following almost eight years as a chief financial officer, four of them with Prodoc and four with Indoor Energy. He began his career in 1999 as a back office employee with Forsta AP pension fund, moving to management consultants BDO the following year. In 2005 he joined the Swedish Export Credit Corporation as a consultant, moving to facilities management company Addici as controller a year later. In 2009 he joined Stanley Security Solutions in a similar role, taking up his job at Indoor Energy in 2010.

Gustafsson said: “Mr Schedvins has fast learned our business and our Shape and Share strategy. I am very satisfied that he will be acting as head of our equipment rental business in Scandinavia.”
Rumpunen joined Cramo as head of group business control in 2012 following nine years with YIT Construction services in a number of increasingly senior financial roles.
He was confirmed as Cramo’s chief financial officer in 2016.
