Link-Belt adds to sales team

Link-Belt Cranes has appointed Greg George as district sales manager for the Rocky Mountain region of U.S. and Canada.

Based in Omaha, Nebraska, he joins the company from construction company JPW Companies of Syracuse, New York, where he has been vice president of sales for the past year or so. Prior to that he worked as a territory sales manager with Link Belt dealer Wood’s CRW, which also handles National Crane boom trucks, Maeda spider cranes and Merlo telehandlers. He started with the company in 2003.

He began his career as a territory sales manager with Syracuse Ladder in 1987, moving to a similar role with crane dealer Stephenson Equipment in 1993, the company handles Grove, Potain, Manitex, National crane and Jekko as well as Montarent tower cranes. He left the company to join Woods CRW 10 years later.

North American sales manager Mike Ogle said: “Greg brings nearly 30 years of experience in the crane industry, with extensive experience in both crane rental and crane distribution business. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the district manager position.”
