Access Link expands in Ireland

The UK based Access Link - the association of independent regional rental companies - has strengthened its presence in Ireland by welcoming two new members and appointing a third at its first meeting of 2020.

More than 40 delegates attended the meeting, held at Haulotte UK’s new facility in Wolverhampton, including newly elected Cookstown based general rental company KDM Hire and Limerick based access rental company Blulift. Members also voted on and approved the appointment of Lift Hire Ireland. Based in Mullingar, the company specialises in van, truck and trailer lifts with working heights up to the 60 metres.

The meeting included a number of presentations including one from IPAF’s newly appointed chief executive, Peter Douglas, who provided an update on forthcoming IPAF activities. IPAF’s quality control and audit manager, Stephanie Byrne, spoke on IPAF Rental +, while Haulotte UK’s business development manager, Ged Kelly, concluded with a presentation on the company’s latest technologies and developments, followed demonstrations of Haulotte’s latest models.
