National Cranes for CraneWorks

US distributor and rental company CraneWorks has placed an order for several National Crane models including 54.4 tonne NBT60L, 50 tonne NBT55L and 40.8 tonne NBT45-142 boom trucks.

The NBT60L, which was launched last year, features a 46 metre main boom, topped by a 10.9 metre lattice swingaway extension, for a maximum tip height of 59.7 metres. The NBT55L has a 39 metre main boom and 54.6 metre maximum tip height. Finally the NBT45-142 has a 49.1 metre main boom and an 11.6 metre swingaway to provide a 62.8 metre maximum tip height.

The company has already taken delivery of the NBT60Ls units with the NBT55Ls and NBT45s scheduled in the coming months. The company has said the new cranes are ideal for work in the oil and gas industry, as well as tree service industry and utility sectors, where the use of both a crane and an aerial work platform is often required.
