New 23m telescopic from Multitel

Multitel Pagliero is to launch a new 23 metre 3.5 tonne telescopic truck mounted lift - the MTE 230 - which joins the company’s current range of 3.5 tonne straight telescopics which range from 14 to 27 metres.

The MTE 230 has a 300kg maximum platform capacity, while both front and rear outriggers can be set within the overall width of the vehicle, extended on one side or extended on both sides. The actual outrigger spread/configuration is monitored by Multitel’s MUSA (Multitel-Self-Adapting outreach) system which adapts the work envelope to match the actual outrigger footprint set.

The new Multitel MTE 230 on Mercedes

The platform capacity with retracted outriggers is 100kg with up to 16 metres of outreach over the rear or nine metres over the side. With extended outriggers, the over the side outreach is almost 14 metres. Outrigger levelling is one button automatic, while a single button automatic return to transport feature is standard.

The MTE 230 offers up to 14 metres over the side reach

Built at the Multitel plant in Manta, Italy, the new platform has a new four section high resistance aluminium boom, which is manufactured in a single piece without welded joints. The machine also features a robot welded aluminium alloy sub-frame, while controls are full hydraulic.

Options include a telematics suite, with machine status display, parameter setting and remote diagnostics.

The MTE 230 will initially be available on a Mercedes Sprinter 311-314, Iveco Daily 35S14 with Euro 6 D low emission engines, or Isuzu M21 chassis.
