48m Palfinger for Skylift

UK truck mounted platform rental company Skylift Platforms has taken delivery of a 48 metre Palfinger P480 NX.

Mounted on two axle 18 tonne MAN chassis, the new generation 2 Jumbo Class NX P480s features a four section main boom and 17 metre upper boom to provide an outreach of 31.5 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 600kg. Features include 240 degrees of jib articulation, platform rotation of 400 degrees and a 3.7 metre hydraulic extending platform.

Skylift Platforms' new Palfinger P480 NX truck mounted platform

Based in Milton Keynes, the company was established by Adam Tucker last August (see: New UK truck mounted rental company). Previously co-owner and a director of Total High Access Solutions, the parent of Mobile Platform Hire UK, the company now offers a range of platforms with working height from 20 to 70 metres.
