Italian track mounted scissor and boom lift manufacturer Almac has appointed Oana Samoila as export area manager for Italy and the UK.
Based in Italy she will have sales responsibility for Italy and the UK, working with existing sales networks and UK country sales manager Malcolm Kitt. She has also joined the IPAF Italian Country Council.
Samoila joins the company from low level aerial lift manufacturer, Bravi Platforms, where was sales and marketing specialist and area manager for Italy, the UK, Spain and Portugal.
Prior to joining Bravi she worked with Italian based language school Victoria/ International House for almost six years, in a variety of training related roles including trainer, course developer, and translator. She is fluent in Romanian, English and Italian as well as French and Spanish.
General manager Andrea Artoni said: “I am very pleased that Oana is joining our team. A young, very motivated and well prepared person is a great addition to our sales team. Her professionality and ‘thinking outside the box’ will definitely mix well with Almac’s unique way of doing business. The fast growth of our company and increased business sales thanks to expanded and qualified worldwide partnership, needed a stronger dedicated team in order to respond more efficiently to our Partners and customer’s needs and expectations.”
“I am sure that together with Jonathan Vioni, our other export area manager and the rest of the sales team, we will definitely be able to reach our ambitious targets.”
