Sinoboom N.America adds to sales team

Sinoboom North America has appointed Paul Waller as director of sales as well as Brad Harrington and Carmine Gibilisco as regional sales managers.

Waller joins Sinoboom from Skyjack, where he has been regional vice president- Western region for the past year. Before that he spent 11 years with Genie having joined the company in 2008 as regional sales manager responsible for Cat Rental store sales in the Mid West, Florida and New Jersey. In 2011, he was promoted to regional vice president, central region. He started out in 1995 with small equipment manufacturer Wacker (now Wacker Neuson) leaving to join Cat dealer Fabick as sales manager after 11 years.

Paul Waller


In his new role with Sinoboom Waller will be responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts as he helps build and expand the Sinoboom customer base in North America.

Speaking of the new job he said: “I was excited about the opportunity to grow the Sinoboom brand. My primary focus will be to lead, manage and develop the North American sales team and to provide professional, personal access equipment solutions for North American customers. I look forward to exploring customer needs and connecting with many of you in the coming months.”

Sinoboom North America chief executive Kolin Kirschenmann added: “I am confident in Paul Waller’s ability. He has been working for Genie and Skyjack for the past 12 years and has accumulated rich sales experience in the North American construction machinery market. I believe he can bring more value to Sinoboom North America’s customers."

Brad Harrington also joins the company from Skyjack, where he has been national accounts manager for the Western region for the past three years or so, having joined the company from Caterpillar in 2017. He started out in 2000 as a branch manager with United Rentals in Bellingham, Washington, and was promoted to strategic accounts manager in the Seattle are in 2011. After two and half years in the role he left United for Caterpillar used equipment sales.

Brad Harrington


As regional sales manager for the western region he will be responsible for building up a customer and sales networks for Sinoboom products.

Carmine Gibilisco joins Sinoboom from Haulotte North America where he has been sales manager for the eastern region since 2011. Prior to his time with Haulotte he was a district manager for Stone Construction Equipment, the concrete and compaction equipment manufacturer for five years. Prior to that he worked with large equipment distributors such as Foley Caterpillar and Hoffman Equipment.

He will be responsible for sales in the Eastern region of the US, the two new regional managers will report to Paul Waller.

Carmine Gibilisco



Speaking of the two appointments Kirschenmann said: “This brand new sales team will focus on partner strategy and the execution of go to market programmes within the US to develop sales and distribution programs. All three of them understand the industry, know US business segments and will position the company to capitalize on the opportunities ahead. I wish them great success in their future roles.”
