More Tadanos for Treffler

German crane rental and heavy haulage company Treffler has taken delivery of a 70 tonne Tadano ATF 70G-4 and a 130 tonne Tadano ATF 130G-5 All Terrain crane as part of a fleet renewal project.

The five axle ATF 130G-5, which offers a 61 metre six section main boom and bi-fold swingaway extension, is intended for ‘heavy duty work’ including steel construction and assembling tower cranes.

The four axle ATF 70G-4 has a 52.1 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a tip height of more than 70 metres and maximum radius of 44 metres. It will be used mainly for home construction projects.

Treffler’s Ingoldstadt branch manager Dirk Koslowski said: “Of course, our main focus is to ensure that the cranes are well used. The machines are super reliable and ready for operation in no time. And I cannot fault the service. Their guys are happy to come over to us directly or else we can pop in to see them at their place. We have built up a great deal of trust in our partner Tadano over the years and we know we can rely on them 100 percent for any maintenance we might need.”

Treffler, which was acquired by Maxikraft last October, is currently restructuring and adding to its fleet with the delivery of seven Liebherrs earlier this year. Maik Kanitzky, Maxikraft group owner, said: “The number one priority for Treffler right now is to upgrade its crane fleet, and we are already seeing the company taking positive strides into the future.”

Made up of five companies, Maxikraft runs a fleet of more than 200 All Terrain and crawler cranes with capacities ranging from 25 to 1000 tonnes from 23 depots located predominately in eastern Germany. It also has a fleet of 70 heavy duty haulage vehicles and specialises in the assembly, dismantling and transport of tower cranes.
