John Chandler returns to JCB

JCB has appointed John Chandler as sales director for its access division.

Chandler joins the company from Genie where he has been UK and Ireland sales director for the past three years along with responsibilities for strategic accounts & business development for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia – see: Genie adds to UK sales team.

He originally joined Genie in 2013 as UK national accounts manager, before becoming the UK and Ireland regional sales manager in 2016. He left the company the following year to join JCB as its national access sales manager but returned to Genie in 2018 after just less than a year in the role.

John Chandler

Chandler began his career in 2006 when he joined Wolseley as a national account manager, leaving for a similar role at HSS Hire in 2008. In 2012 he returned to Wolseley for 10 months until he was recruited by Genie in 2013.

A statement from JCB said: "John Chandler has joined JCB this week, and will be based at JCB’s World HQ in Staffordshire. John brings a wealth of sales and operational experience gained from more than 15 years working in the access industry."
