Another Liebherr for MGA

UK rental company MGA Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane, having taken its first new Liebherr crane in 2019 – see: First Liebherr for MGA.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a six section 48 metre main boom topped by 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold lattice swingaway extension to offer a maximum tip height of 67.5 metres. It features a Stage V engine as well as Liebherr’s Variobase variable outrigger set up and remote control systems.

Commercial manager Gareth Tinsley, said: “This was a welcome opportunity to revisit the Liebherr brand as part of our ongoing investment plan. Our aim is to supply our customer base, both old and new, with the most technically advanced and eco-friendly machines available on the market. The latest addition has now brought our average fleet age to just four years old.”
