UK rental group Speedy has opened a new specialist hoist division with a £1.5 million investment in Geda rack & pinion hoists with capacities from 200kg to two tonnes.
The new division will be based at a new 4,800 square metre hub in Birmingham with the company saying it has more than 25 trained hoist engineers across its network. The Birmingham location will be followed by eight additional specialist hoist centres planned for later this year. Adrian Bolland, a 15 year Speedy veteran, will lead the new hoist division.

This significant investment simplifies and improves the age profile our fleet, enabling us to offer a consistent service nationwide.
