New JLG VP for Eastern US/Canada

JLG has appointed Joe Kleiner as regional vice president for the eastern United States and eastern Canada. He will be responsible for leading JLG’s sales and service growth within the territory, which includes the US states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia. In Canada he will be responsible for New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. He replaces Brent Miller who has moved to a new role as vice president of channel management.

Joe Kleiner


Kleiner joined JLG’s sales training programme in 2012 following a year and a half with Curry Supply in Philadelphia. His year in the training programme including stints in just about every department in the company from sales to credit control and production. He took up his first posting in 2013 as district sales manager for the western region, covering northern California and Nevada, and in 2015 took over the midwest region, servicing customers in Indiana and Illinois.

He began his career in 2008 as an insurance sales rep with Group Insurance Sales, before moving to Curry Supply in 2011 as a national account manager for Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Texas.

Timothy Morris, JLG senior vice president of sales, said: “Joe has a long tenure at JLG. Elevating him into this role allows us to continue meeting the growing needs of our rental and end user customers in the east. Joe and his team will be key contributors to the company’s business goals within the territory.”

Kleiner added: “The heavy equipment market is constantly evolving which presents many growth opportunities. To position JLG for continued success, our team is focused on understanding our customers changing needs to elevate the access industry in three key areas: productivity, safety and technology, while delivering the industry’s broadest range of life-cycle solutions including parts, service and training.”
