Second 40t Liebherr for Marsden

UK rental company Marsden Crane Services has taken delivery of its second 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane in six months – see: Liebherrs for Marsden.

The two axle LTM 1040 has a four section 35 metre main boom which can handle 7.4 tonnes at full height or 1.1 tonnes at a maximum radius of 31 metres. Features include a Stage V engine, Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up system and the company's remote control unit which provides operation for all superstructure functions.

Marsden has taken delivery of two LTM 1040-2.1s in the past six months

Marsden managing director, Lee Marsden, said: “We are really pleased to receive another Liebherr LTM1040-2.1 and it will be set straight to work following operator training. It is our intention to continue investing in the best equipment available and the 40 tonne Liebherr is an absolutely superb machine.”

Established by brothers Brendan, Dale and Lee Marsden in 2015, Marsden Crane Services runs a fleet of All Terrain, city and aluminium truck cranes with capacities up to 60 tonnes.
