Palfinger demo tour

Palfinger has organised a European demo tour for its latest 17 metre P 170 TXE-E Smart Plus and 30 metre P 300 KS truck mounted platforms.

Launched at the end of last year (see: Palfinger Smart Plus line), for most this will be the first opportunity to see and test operate the straight telescopic P 170 TXE-E. It has been mounted on a 3.5 tonne Iveco chassis with a 3.75 metre wheelbase and offers a 17 metre working height, an outreach of 10.8 metres and 250kg basket capacity.

The demo tour will offer a chance to see Palfinger's new P 170 TXE-E Smart Plus

As with all models in the new Smart Plus range, features include multifunctional electric controls, improved platform entry and home and anti-collision functions. It offers variable outrigger set up - fully extended, extended on one side and inboard/straight down - all with automatic monitoring and working envelope selection. The demo unit will also be fitted with a 230 volt electric motor, an insulated fibreglass basket rated to 1,000 volts and cable control.

Palfinger will also showcase its P 300 KS

The P 300 KS has been mounted on a 7.5 tonne MAN TGL 8.190 chassis and offers a 30 metre working height, up to 20.5 metres outreach and a maximum 400kg platform capacity. It can self-level on slopes up to five degrees and features home and memory functions.

Both units kicked started the tour at Innovations Days in Hohenroda, Germany, earlier this month and will now visit its distributors in Croatia, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France over the next three months.
