UK based sales company and Genie dealer Workplatform has appointed Stuart Parker as regional account manager.
Parker joins from Battery Service Hub, where he has been business development manager since last year – see: Parker joins BSH. He began his access career in 1999 with Genie UK. He gradually progressed during his time with the company, from working in the warehouse to administration/order processing, European parts and support coordinator, before moving to Access Platform Sales (APS) in 2011 as parts manager – see: Parts manager for APS. When APS merged with IPS to create IAPS, he became national account manager for the IPS business, leaving in late 2018 to join Global Recycling and Battery Service Hub in 2020.
Parker said: “I really enjoyed my time at the Battery Service Hub but when the opportunity came about to sell new Genie machines for Workplatform, it was an opportunity that I simply couldn’t refuse. I have been in the powered access industry for 22 years and in that time have built up a good number of contacts and I am ready to transition across from parts to machine sales.”
Jonathan Hull of Workplatform added: “Stuart has got a great reputation in the industry and we feel that he has all the necessary attributes to be able to successfully support and add value to our customers in the UK.”
