Haulotte has appointed Sara Fakhraei as marketing director for the Americas.
Fakhraei joined the company earlier this year having relocated to the USA from Australia where she had been marketing manager at flooring specialist Polyflor Australia for the previous four years. The access market is a totally new industry for her, although she said that the marketing essentials appear to be similar to those industries and companies where she has worked over the past 15 years.
Fakhraei began her career in 2007 as a marketing co-ordinator with the Australian operation of leading printing machine manufacturer Heidelberger Druckmaschinen. 18 months later she moved to Natrad the automotive cooling and air conditioning specialist as marketing manager. After almost six years in the job, she took up a similar role with restaurant chain Noodle Box. In 2017 she relocated to Melbourne, and moved back into the homeware market as marketing manager with tap company Phoenix Tapware, transferring to Lixil, the Grohe and American Standard tap and sanitary ware distributor the following year joining Polyflor in 2019.
She has joined Haulotte at an opportune time, just before the American Rental Association’s ARA Show in Orlando, which she attended, giving her a perfect chance to get a feel for the access industry. At the same time Haulotte's North American business, where she is based, has finally gained some real momentum and stability, and is now in its second or third year of a strong upward trend.
She also brings much needed new blood and hopefully fresh, but practical ideas to the industry.
