AT manager for Tadano America

Tadano America has appointed Hutton Strader as its new product manager for All Terrain cranes throughout the Americas.
Strader will focus on supporting customers, distributors and sales teams with product knowledge and technical expertise for Tadano All Terrains, working closely with the factory teams in Germany to answer customers’ questions, while representing the needs of American market on new product development projects.

He joined Tadano in late 2021 as product manager for telescopic crawler cranes, having previously spent seven years as business development manager for crane rental group ALL.
He began his career in 1998 as an sales support engineer with Liebherr distributor Schiller International, leaving the following year for Newport News Shipbuilding where he was an engineer in the reactor planning yard. In 2001 he moved to Copper Bearings as an application engineer, and later OEM account manager. After more than six years with the company left to join Liebherr North America (which had taken over crane distribution in the USA) as national account manager departing for All Crane in late 2014.

Director of product management and engineering Lance Rydbom said: “We are looking forward to leveraging Hutton’s prior experience and expertise to really help grow the All Terrain business. He will be working directly with Tadano’s regional business managers and distributor sales teams to grow their knowledge of what we have to offer.”

Strader added: “Having worked with All Terrain cranes for over 20 years, this position provides a unique opportunity to help develop products that really fit the needs and wants of our diverse customers.”
