Almac adds to sales team

Italian self-levelling boom, scissor lift and crane manufacturer Almac / AlmaCrawler has appointed Karim Sinno as sales manager - material handling equipment.

In his new role he will be directly responsible for AlmaCrawler’s Multi-Loader tracked carrier range, and T-Crane self-levelling tracked pick & carry crane, working with the company’s existing distributors while looking to expand and developing the network.

Karim Sinno

He joins the company from Italian mini wheeled loader manufacturer MultiOne where he has been export sales manager for the past six years. He began his career in 2010 as a customer service employee at ITS Management followed by short spells with similar companies until joining MultiOne for the first time at the start of 2015 as export manager, leaving after a year and a half to join cosmetics manufacturer Labo International as international sales manager, returning to MultiOne two years later.

Chief executive Andrea Artoni said: "Our team is and will be growing exponentially in the next few years, and the arrival of Karim Sinno in our sales team represents a great opportunity to further strengthen our work with our distribution network. The last couple of years have confirmed an increasing interest in our innovative Material Handling products and we look forward to a positive global expansion."

Sinno added: “I am really looking forward to fully taking advantage of this new professional opportunity and work towards developing the market for these innovative products further. And I feel like I’m joining a real work family so I’m excited about what the future will bring for us.”
