New GM for Terex Utilities

Terex has appointed Eric Kluver as general manager of Terex Utilities, the group’s vehicle mounted lift/bucket truck manufacturer, which also runs the AWP division’s extensive North America after sales service network.

He joins the company following more than 21 years with Palfinger North America/Omaha Standard where he has been vice president finance for the past seven years, having joined Omaha Standard as plant manager in 2001 - which was acquired by Palfinger in 2008 at which point Kluver was chief financial officer.

Other wider ranging roles at the company came with the Palfinger acquisition, including a move to Singapore as vice president finance Asia-Pacific, followed by almost four years as joint general manager and vice president finance for the Sany Palfinger joint venture in China, returning to North America in 2016 as vice president finance for South America. He began his career in 1997 as a manufacturing engineer with Angus Industries/Worthington Industries Engineered Cabs in Watertown, South Dakota which is where Terex Utilities is based.

He reports to Genie president Simon Meester who now adds Terex Utilities to his responsibilities as president of Terex AWP which includes both Genie and Terex Utilities.
