Telehandler manufacturer Bobcat has appointed Gary Hornbacher as president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He is currently based in Denver as vice president channel development & training for Bobcat North America, a role he has held for more than four years.
Hornbacher has spent his career to date with the company, having joined Bobcat’s sales and marketing department in 1988. In the 19 years that followed he held various sales positions before being appointed vice president sales & marketing for North America in 2006.
In 2015 he was transferred from Bobcat headquarters in Fargo, North Dakota, to European HQ in Brussels, Belgium as senior vice president commercial for the region. Two years later he moved back to Fargo as vice president strategy and Total Quality Management for North America, taking up his current role in mid-2019.

In his new role he will be based in Dobris, Czech Republic, where the company has a 120,000 square metre manufacturing facility with R&D centre and training institute. He officially takes up his new role as of today.
