CHRO for Palfinger

Loader crane and aerial lift manufacturer Palfinger has appointed Maria Koller, 51, as chief human resources oficer and a member of the Palfinger executive board.
She will be responsible for HR and legal affairs, working with chief executive Andreas Klauser, chief financial officer Felix Strohbichler and chief operating officer Alexander Susanek to implement its ‘Strategy 2030’ programme.

She joins the company from electronics company Jenoptik, where she was executive vice president global HR. She has spent most her life in personnel management/HR, having started out in 1998 with Alcatel, moving to Platinum Equity in 2004 as HR director for the EU. In 2007 she relocated to the UK with Danaher Group and Gems Sensors, leaving for Leica Germany three years later. After five years with the company, she moved to automotive supplier Magna Germany, joining Jenoptik three years later.

Hubert Palfinger, chairman of the supervisory board, said: “Following many years of experience, Maria Koller knows how important well trained employees are to a technology company. With her expertise, we are strengthening Palfinger’s position as an attractive and future oriented employer.
Maria Koller is the ideal candidate for this task, based on experience gained in HR matters at Alcatel in Austria, Danaher in Great Britain and Germany, at Magna Europe and since 2017 in a central position at the listed technology group Jenoptik.”
