The ARA opened yesterday in New Orleans to a busy day with every exhibitor we spoke to being very happy with the number of visitors and their interest in buying.
We will provide a full update later in the week but here are a few points not covered in our basic pre-show story yesterday.
A New Orleans welcome
Teupen used the show to unveil is new 27 metre spider lift, the Leo 27GTplus renamed the Leo82AJplus.
The first outing for Teupen’s new 27 metre spider lift
Manitou held a press conference with the key new product launch being the North American version of its six metre/2,500kg MT625 compact telehandler as the MTA 519 - 5,000 lbs/19ft. The main changes include US style joystick controls and the use of a skid steer type fork carriage. The electric version of the machine will be available in the USA later this year.
