US based heavy lift and engineering specialist Engineered rigging has appointed Jay Holt as director of assets and engineering.
Holt will be responsible for managing the company’s fleet and developing engineering solutions for clients. He joins from American energy company Entergy where he has been a project manager for the past four years.
Holt began his career in the heavy lift industry in 2002 with Rigging international, which was acquired by Sarens in 2009. After more than eight years with Rigging he left for a project director's role at Precision Surveillance. In 2014 he rejoined the heavy lift industry as a project manager with Sarens, taking up a similar role at Bigge Crane and Rigging in 2016. In 2019, he tried his hands in the overhead crane market with Matrix Business Concepts leaving for Entergy the following year.
Engineered Rigging's founder Christopher Fox said: “Having an in-house engineering team, equipment rental and seasoned technical support under a single roof is one of the unique advantages that Engineered Rigging offers our clients.
