Faresin build for Zeppelin

Italian telehandler manufacturer Faresin and German Caterpillar distributor Zeppelin have signed a supply and cooperation partnership for the supply and distribution of Faresin's fixed frame telehandlers in Germany and Austria.

The deal covers both construction and agricultural models, which covers 10 models ranging from six metres/2,600kg to 17 metres/4,500kg. Some sizes feature both diesel and all electric versions.

Faresin will supply Zeppelin with units on an OEM type basis in Zeppelin livery and with its own unique nomenclature.

Zeppelin chairman Holger Schulz said: "With Faresin Industries, we have found a competent partner that fits perfectly with our product portfolio. We can now offer our customers a much broader and cross industry programme. This will enable us to achieve significantly better market coverage in the telehandler segment and exploit new growth opportunities in both construction and agriculture as well as with rental companies and industrial companies. The obvious strengths of our new partner are its high level of flexibility and focus on a wide range of customer requirements. From the outset, the responsibilities within our partnership have been clearly defined: Faresin Industries is responsible for the development and high quality and reliable manufacture of the machines, while Zeppelin is responsible for sales and service for the telehandlers in Germany and Austria. The innovative, future oriented approach of our new partner is particularly impressive, and we see it as a great advantage for future cooperation."

Sante Faresin added: "We are extremely proud and happy to have signed this collaboration, which is perfectly in line with our plan for the industry. The German market represents a key opportunity with a potential of over 5,500 machines and we are sure that Zeppelin is the ideal partner to make the most of this opportunity in Germany and Austria. Thanks to the strength of the sales and service network and the complementarity of our technologies, we are ready to gain new market shares by offering a wide range of innovative solutions. Our FS line and the Full Electric line represent highly innovative and technologically advanced products, but above all extremely reliable, just as our partner Zeppelin expects. Our entire team is fully on board and ready to support every phase of development and joint growth."

The official launch of the new partnership will take place at Bauma in Munich this April see Vertikal Events section for details with three Faresin built models on Zeppelin’s stand in the outdoor area.
