Lane is currently manager of North American sales, a role he has held since early 2021. He joined Link-Belt in 2008 as district manager for the upper Mid Western states, after having worked for nine years heading up the crane sales efforts of General Equipment & Supplies, the Link-Belt dealer for Minnesota and North Dakota. He began his working life in the US Navy and began his equipment related career as a district manager with Komatsu America, covering the upper Midwest and later as dealer business manager for CNH America-Asset Remarking, covering the western United States.

Chief executive Melvin Porter said: “Gary’s experience within Link-Belt Cranes, the heavy equipment industry, and his knowledge of distribution will be beneficial in leading the company into the future. Gary has always maintained a strong focus on customer service and support.”
