HDW launches used equipment division

Netherlands based distributor HDW has set up a used equipment division, specialising in second hand aerial work platforms and telehandlers from manufacturers such as Genie, JLG, Ruthmann, Niftylift, Teupen and Manitou - it will be managed by Remko van der Gaag.

HDW sales director Remko Jonkergouw said: "The decision to establish the Used Equipment Division comes in response to market demand and serves as a strategic move to diversify and grow our business amid the current challenges facing the aerial work platform market. By focusing our efforts on this growing segment, we believe we can provide our customers with the value and solutions they need."

Used equipment manager Remko van der Gaag

Founded in 1982, to handle Coles crane sales in the Netherlands, HDW has been the Genie distributor since 1995 the company is based in Heinenoord, Zuid-Holland, south of Rotterdam and operates from locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic through its sister company Statech. It is supported by a team of 100 employees and is an official distributor of Genie, Versalift, Ruthmann, Safelift and Teupen.
