Wilkerson Crane Rental has appointed Wes Spencer as the manager of its new Witchita branch.

In his new role he will oversee day to day operations, business expansion and team development. He joins the company from Allied Crane where he has been a division manager for the past 11 and a half years.

Spencer began his career in 2006 as a technician in the car industry working for Bear Automotive leaving in 2008 for utilities company DTE Energy where he was employed as a fuel technician. After almost six years in the role he took a job with Black Hills Energy as an operations technician joining Allied Crane a few months later.

Chief operating officer Larry Smith said: "We are thrilled to establish our presence in Wichita and welcome Wes Spencer to the Wilkerson Crane Rental family. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing exceptional service and accessibility to our customers across the region. Wes' extensive industry experience and proven leadership make him the ideal person to lead our Wichita operations."
