Irish rental company RMP Hire has taken delivery of an AlmaCrawler Jibbi 1890 Evo tracked self-levelling boom lift and a 26ft Almac Bibi 1090-BL Evo auto levelling tracked scissor lift.
The diesel 1090 has an overall width of 1.46 metres and offers a working height of 10 metres, with a platform capacity of 300kg. Includes dynamic auto levelling with up to 14 degrees side to side and 20 degrees fore and aft. Overall weight is 2,890kg.
The Bibi 1090-BL Evo scissor
Launched in 2023, the Jibbi 1890 has a maximum working height of 17.9 metres and can drive while elevated up to 13.9 metres. It is equipped with a new chassis mounted ultrasonic anti-collision sensor that detects obstacles on the ground while levelling up to 15 degrees side to side or front to rear. Maximum outreach is 9.92 metres with 140kg in the platform, while the maximum platform capacity of 250kg is available at up to 8.32 metres. The overall width is 2.2 metres fixed and total weight is 5.9 to 6.3 tonnes depending on battery type. Total weight is 6,050kg.
The Jibbi 1890
Dan Daly, sales director of Inspectec said: “These are the first Almacrawler units to Join the RMP Hire fleet, and the Jibbi boom lift is the first one sold to a customer based in Dublin.”
Based to the North of Dublin, RMP was established more than 20 years ago and runs boom lifts from Genie and Snorkel, as well as scissors and mast type lifts from Skyjack and Snorkel, alongside earthmoving and power tool rental.
