Planet Platforms the 'one to watch'

Work at height specialist Planet Platforms has been accredited as 'one to watch' by the Sunday Times 'Best Companies' index 2008.

The Best Companies Accreditation follows the elite 'Michelin style' star rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement. The rating is calculated from feedback questionnaires distributed within the company and gives employees an opportunity to candidly comment and rate various factors such as holidays, charity activities and incentives.

Published annually in The Sunday Times, the ‘Best Companies Guide’ carries all the names and star ratings of accredited organisations. This book 
is also widely marketed to all available recruitment centres such as universities, libraries and careers offices as well as being available for purchase at leading book stores.

Marketing manager Tim Mee said of the recognition, “Nearly half the employees within Planet have been here for more than 5 years. This in itself is a testament to the positive attitude felt by people within the company.”

Planet Platforms is a manufacturer and distributor of work place access solutions. Employing more than 50 people across five UK sites, the company also provides a number of safety inspection and working at height training programmes.
